Blacke Lion

Just before New Year we went to Amsterdam, a short one-destination trip, and I found this enigmatic creature painted in one of the tunnels, not far from the Central Station. I don’t recall seeing such a symbolism, a lion using his snake-like tongue – to catch his victims? to seduce them? Because of the proportions, the person on his tongue can be seen as his daemon, in Pullman sense. A very Blacke image indeed.
