Old Futures

We experience an unusually cold weather here, to the extent that two nearby lakes got frozen (unseen for at least ten last years). Which means that there is already a new generation of kids who never saw true, natural ice, and knowledge of the adults was supposed to get rusty too. And yet, as soon as the first signs of ice on the lakes emerged, they’ve been packed by people, of all ages, and to the max. Skates are sharp, sledges are plenty, and Dutchmen enjoy their favorite winter entertainment to the full.
