Pure Events

Every time I want to (re)start thinking/writing about the future, I inevitable end up re-reading Mille Plateaux; their shaking plates somehow provide me with a much more confident point of departure that any other, more solid framework.

“The simultaneity of becoming is eluding the present; insofar it eludes the present, becoming does not tolerate the separation or the distinction of before and after, or of past and future. It pertains to the essence of becoming to move and to pull in both directions at once.” (The Logic of Sense, p. 1)
