Dutch Deign Week’10

In a few days Eindhoven will host Dutch Design Week, the most known festival of design and related creative industries of the Netherlands. This year’s program, and despite all the ‘criseses’, will be the largest ever, and include not only the official DDW show in the Strijp complex, but also an annual graduation show of the Design Academy, presentations by the Departments of Industrial Design of both TU/e and Fontys University, exhibitions in the High Tech Campus, Design House, and in many other museums, art galleries, centers and clubs; just look at the map of the locations, and you will see the expected intensity of the week.

A set of my pictures from the last year’s event can be seen in Dutch Design Week’09 set on Flickr.

ps: Need to mention that this picture is not an official poster of the DDW; I made it myself, using a very nice project called ABChairs, by Roeland Otten.
