Movable Light

A fragment of the new interactive multimedia installation called Lotus 7.0, by Daan Roosegaarde; we’ve seen it in the Design House in Eindhoven, as a part of the new exhibition Liberation of Light. The pictures doesn’t convey all the beauty of this art work, because of its dynamic and interactive nature, but at least it can provide a glimpse. There is a short video showing how the concept works irl.

There was also another interactive concept by Daan shown at this exhibition, Dune, although it’s a relatively old project by now, we saw it during the previous STRP festival, already in 2008. But it’s beautiful nevertheless.

Perhaps this picture can help to understand what’s going on 🙂

PS: The first and the third pictures are also used in my aman-geld blog.
