We spent two last days at the ISE’16, Integrated System Europe expo and trade fair in Amsterdam. This is already a second time when we attend the event, one of the world-largest in the domain of complex IT solutions. It is less focussed on consumer electronics (although there of course purely consumer products present there, too). But the main focus is more b2b solutions, and so both exhibitors and the audience are a but more ‘serious’.
During the last day the serious audiences were presented with a serious speaker, a renown Michio Kako who shared his views about the coming futures. I don’t fully buy his vision of ‘perfect capitalism’ (for me it’s too much naively technocratic), but his thoughts are worth to know anyway, also because they are well received in these ICT circles.
