Just found an interesting report, on the Future of Mobile Tagging, from the NY-based trend research consultancy PSFK. The report a) very interesting and informative b) quite large, almost 100 pages (12MB pdf), and c) FREE! (although registration is required). Besides quite a rich content, I like to the format of presentation; it combines already existing cases with the ‘possible futures’, visualized as if they already happened. One large concern is that the report is sponsored by Microsoft Tags business unit of MS, and the future looks very MS-skewed (at least MS-colored). Still very worth reading a text, just put your PR-filtering glasses on.
