A one-day workshop (a mini-conference, in fact) on ‘visualizing the futures’, organized by the Dutch chapter of the World Future Society. Lots of new and interesting things to learn, and lot of people to meet, both new and ‘old friends’.

It’s a long ongoing ‘project’, where I keep if not ‘collecting’ than at least spotting (and sometimes capturing) the examples of the ‘Maps of Europe’, how it’s being depicted in various contexts and by various agencies/actors. This one presents Europe as the Discworld of some sort, with the edge going through the borders of Russia/Belorussia/Ukraine (perfectly justifying the name of the latter in this case).
